Agree/Dissagree

1) Weather and our surroundings can change our mood.
- I agree because when its raining I get sad, and if your surrounded by people with bad mood you will get sad. When its sunny outside though most of the time everyone is happy. If you live in a world with out colorful things you get sad and you hate the whole world. People might be like this because everyone has something that makes them happy, it might be the weather or a person and if they dont get to see that a lot they feel sad.

2) Difficult to stay 24 hours with out food.
- It depends if you are used to it. If you eat a lot your stomach is big but if you stop eating it will get smaller. You can also feel week and sick if you are used to food and you suddenly stop. Its all about the daily routine you follow.

3)Going through a difficult time makes a person more mature or more confidence.
- Agree because if you dont have much fun and you dont think positive while you are in a difficult time. You also get more confident because if you pass that difficult time and you find your self in another one you will say that "I did this before. Ill find a way" and it gives you more experience and more confidence, it also makes you tougher.

4) The love of money is the root of evil.
- I agree because money cant bring you happiness, it can destroy you. Money starts war, and you can loose your money from debts. It can make people jealous of you and they will try to kill you. Many rich people get depressed because they cant buy love or happiness! They basically destroy their lives.

Agree/Dissagree

Everyone should read books:
Agree, everyone should read books because books make you smarter. They help your literature and your knowledge. Your vocabulary becomes rich and you have more ides about your life and in school.

Literature can me dangerous:
Agree, it can be dangerous to some countries that are strictly censored. Books can change your way of thinking, not always in a good way. People can imitate characters they find in books or can get bad ideas. Of course there are books that have bad words which kids can learn and say to the others and often get in trouble.

Advance technology is good for everyone:
Disagree: technology can be good but not always. Computers especially, they are the best way for getting information about everything. They make your life easier. But they can also destroy your life. They can make u addicted to them and not study or work for school or your job and create problems in your life.

Twister Film Critique

Hello, my name is Barney Stevenson. I study weather for 15 years and I have a lot of experience in Tornadoes, Hurricanes and Typhoons. Many cities and villages got attacked by a huge deadly possibly tornado. My mission is to locate a tornado and observe it from inside, its quite dangerous but that's why I love my job. As you know from my series in Discovery Channel "Danger" is my middle name.

Two weeks ago I was a witness to an F five tornado, it was humongous, unfortunately I wasn't able to join the squad and go inside the amazingly destructive weapon of nature. My car was broken down from the last ride in to a tornado. F four though, my car couldn't stand the F four so we would need a miracle to survive the power of the F five.

The director of the movie has done a great job, even though some of the parts weren't real. Its a fact... you cant stand in the middle of the tornado, especially if its an F five and stay on the ground. In the movie two people stayed under some wooden bridge and they survived. An F five can tare apart houses and buildings and cant brake a tiny bridge?

The real science in the movie was the weather and maybe the machine that they wanted to scan the tornado. Even though it was kind of weird, it looked fail because I never saw something like that in a TV show, they never talked something about that.

Asian Religion

All adult Muslims are required to offer Salat prayers five times daily. Most mosques will organise a time of prayer for each of the daily timeslots.

In addition to holding the daily prayers, mosques hold weekly jumu'ah services as an adaptation of Sabbath, which replace the midday prayer on Fridays

The Cholistan Desert

The Cholistan Desert is also known as the Rohi Desert. It is situated in the Punjab region of Pakistan and is the largest desert on the Indian continent.

The word Cholistan comes from ‘Chol’ which means desert in Turkish, but it could also come from 'Cholna' which means moving.

About 2.5 million people live in Cholistan who are nomads and travel around the desert, looking for water and herding and trading camels. The people live a very simple life and are very religious. They still keep their primitive customs and traditions and place great value in music and singing. They have a very strong culture with many romantic legends dating back to ancient times. The women and men both wear baggy, embroidered and colourful clothes. They have fabulous desert festivals where you can see camels dancing and wearing even more colourful clothes than the people. People still live in houses made of mud and straw just as they did 200 years ago.

The Cholistan people make interesting handicrafts such as wall hangings, bed covers, carpets and blankets with bright colours and beautiful patterns with geometric designs.

The desert expands over to Sindh and into India. The dry bed of the Hakra River runs through the area. When it dried up so did most of life there. Wildlife is scarce. Wild cat, jackal, wolf, squirrel, field rat, over 200 types of insects and as many as sixty varieties of snakes are found here.

The desert also has an Annual Jeep Rally, known as Annual Cholistan Jeep Rally.

It lies at an altitude of 400 ft. above sea level and covers an area of 23,500 sq. m. Temperatures range from 8º C in winter to 34º C in summer. There is very little rainfall in the area averaging about 3 - 5 inches annually. During the wet season the people built shallow reservoirs to catch the rainwater so that they could survive. Cholistan is changing because a canal system has been introduced.

Places of interest include the Derawar Fort where the tombs of the ex-rulers of Bahawalpur and their families are situated, and Shrines of Channan Pir.

Shabanu Anticipation Guide

It is possible to experience love at first sight.
I agree, it is possible to experience love from first sight. Many people have experienced that feeling from first sight; it might be like that because the other person that you saw for first time has the same personality or character with you. You can also feel an attraction between you and him/her. I also know people that happened to him. Well I don’t personally know them but from Television, like Steve Erwin!!! He got loved with his wife when he saw her for first time.

Two complete strangers stuck on a deserted island could learn to love one another (and yes, stay with one another after being rescued).

I disagree with this statement. Because there is no way to fell in love with someone that you got stuck in the same island. There are many ways to not like a person when you stuck in an island with him/her. One of them is that you don’t like her/him, and you just don’t want to be her/his friend for some reason. If it was me I wouldn’t want to get in love with any person that I am stuck in an island because, I might now like the person and why would I want to get in love with her?

It is a good thing to sacrifice your happiness for the desires of others.

I agree with that statement, if it’s a person that I like or love why not, especially if it’s a member of my family or a really close friend of mine. Many people would do that because it’s just normal, but it depends on how you think or feel for that one person. Sometimes it it’s a good thing to sacrifice your happiness for the desire of the others. If its actually worth it why not do it?!

Women in your society are free citizens.

I disagree, and I disagree with that because, no one is a free person in this community. Everyone has to follow rules. Women are like men, they are free to do as much as men can do. No one can go and steal items or do something they want or they thing right. If you do so you can get in big trouble. So… no one is a free citizen now on. You must follow certain rules!

Composition- The Outsiders FIlm and Novel Critique

I liked the movie better because I like to visual things. The book was more detailed and that's not bad. I personally don't like books but this one was one of the best and few books iv' read!
Also one thing that I didn't like about the movie is that, to make this movie they cut a lot of important scenes that were in the book.
And with the book you imagine characters with your self and that's one thing I like with the books but the movie had more action less talking and cool character!
Well to tell the truth, this is one movie and one book that you cant compare! They were both great and really creative.

World of Warcraft Pod Cast Episode 20

This pod cast is episode 20-Useful Warrior tips!

What made me choose this podcast :

Welcome to Episode 20 of the WoW Podcast! This week they are discussing all sorts of fascinating topics. They have some interesting news to say the very least. I am still amazed at what people are willing to do just for a little gold in game. They are talking about warriors and how to be a tank and still have fun. And also they answer a few questions that people have asked about leveling effectively and how to make time fly as you try to grind those difficulty levels.

I chose this pod cast because i like the game World of Warcraft, it also has 2 expansions: World of Warcraft The burning Crusade and World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King!

Blizzard is the company that created world of warcraft and they have also broke the record of 1 month sales on pc. Amazon had also told us that they had more preorders for this game than any other pc game or concole in their Amazone history!!

So they basicaly talking about the Warrior class and how to learn tanking in Instances and Raids. They admit that they are not pros in all the game classes but they sure know how to play a warrior! They are sharing some useful tips on how to tank and how to pvp( Player versus Player ).
